Powder Charge (gr) MV (ft/s) Std Dev (ft/s) ME (ft-lbs) Comments
3.6 998 18.9 221 Competent target load with good consistency. Slightly smoky (see below)
3.8 1024 8.1 (!) 233 Excellent consistency!

General Comments:
This turned out to be a serendipitous load right from the start. Both the 3.6 and 3.8 grains have great consistency. Of course, the barrel sealing qualities of lead bullets may help. Lead bullets tend to create smokier loads than jacketed. Therefore, I think this is a function of the bullet, not the powder.

Since the 3.8 gr load maps onto the CorBon load almost dead on (1027 ft/s), it may be worthwhile to load Sierra JHP bullets (what CorBon uses) with Bullseye.
